When asked, 23% cited their PMO as a reporting and tracking function for their business, 16% stated their role was business improvement, 6% saying governance and standards, and 49% stated a mix including 6% citing other unique definitions of the role of their PMO. We asked survey responders to share with us what they see the function of their PMO is and the results aren’t particular surprising, but it could be preventing PMOs from improving.
